Once the hub of the city’s U.S. mail system, the long-abandoned USPS headquarters in Houston has been transformed into a dynamic cultural center expanding the city’s vibrant downtown options for places to eat, work, and be entertained.

Beverage Service

We have 6 bar stations planned for the Halloween Ball. Nobody likes confusing lines, crowded bars, or line cutters, so to make your experience the best possible, we’ve moved the bars and bar lines into the Northwest Glass Rooms on both the 1st and 2nd levels where there is space for organized lines and easy in-out.

VIP Ticket holders have exclusive access to the VIP Bars on the 2nd floor, but can also purchase from any bar. 

Roof Skylawn Access

The Skylawn will be open until 11pm. GA+ and VIP guests have access to the roof from the NorthWest stairwell. The Skylawn at POST offers a gorgeous view of the Houston Skyline – so check it out before 11pm!

If you’d like to upgrade your ticket to access the Skylawn, you can find instructions on how to do so here.

Security will be monitoring the roof closely. Any unsafe tomfoolery or rule-breaking will result in immediate removal from the premises, adhering to our zero-tolerance policy.

Rideshare Zone

We highly recommend utilizing Rideshare for a safe and fun evening. The following address will bring you right to the Rideshare Drop-off Zone.

Parking & Directions

Event Parking is easily available on-site at POST, to the West of POST there is a city flat-rate metered parking lot. Also, various street-level parking and garage options are available in the area.

If you are driving, we suggest entering on the East side of post to avoid the ride-share drop-off zone as shown in the map above.

You must have your QR Code ready to scan.
All guests must present ID at the door.
This event is 18+ only.
21+ guests will receive a bar credential.


All guests will be scanned by a metal detector and are subject to additional search or pat down by security personnel. 

Bag Policy

Bags, backpacks, and purses are NOT allowed at the Halloween Ball. For those who do not have pockets, we will permit a small clear clutch-style bag… here’s one we suggest from Amazon prime for only $6.


Re-entry is not permitted.

Costume Rules

#1. No real or fake weapons of any kind will be allowed. This includes plastic guns, knives, and swords. We have a zero-tolerance policy, and violators will be removed promptly.

#2. No hateful, offensive, or culturally insensitive costumes will be allowed. There are plenty of other options out there- the Halloween Ball is an event for everyone.

#3. No nudity or profanity. Use your best judgment, and when in doubt, consider another lewk.

#4. Event Staff, Police, Security, and Facility personnel reserve the right to remove anyone with a costume deemed inappropriate for the atmosphere for any reason.

Costume Contest

Here’s how we’ve decided to conduct the costume contest. Our Halloween Ball minions will be on the watch-out for the best costumes. If you receive a golden envelope, you’ve been selected as a finalist. Meet us at the base of the stairs after midnight for final voting! 😉

Event Photography

Digital Photos

GA+ and VIP Attendees have access to our complimentary photo backdrop where we will be taking digital photos until 11:30pm.  All photos will be uploaded here within 48 hours after the event. 

Authentic Polaroids

Like your favorite spooky movie from the 80’s and 90’s, our VIP Ticket Holders will leave with a complimentary authentic Polaroid souvenir photo.

You will receive your Polaroid Ticket when you check-in. Redeem your ticket any time before 11:30pm.

Sell-out expected.

We have a very limited amount of tickets remaining for this event and anticipate a sell-out. If tickets remain, we will offer tickets at the door, however, you might show up to a sold-out event.

Rules & Policies

Events by Fathom are produced with Saftey first, adhering to our Zero-Tolerance Policy. This means staff and security reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises for any reason, including but not limited to rule-breaking, unsafe behavior, intoxication, drugs, weapons, etc. If you do not adhere to event rules, you will be swiftly removed from the event premises.

Safety & Emergencies

Everyone who will be on event grounds, regardless of involvement, should review all safety and emergency protocols.

Medical Emergencies

For life-threatening situations, please call 911 and notify event staff immediately. If you can’t find an event staff member, go to the DJ Altar.


If you notice any suspicious activity or potential threats, please contact an event director immediately. For life-threatening situations, please exit the event area immediately, call 911, and find safety.


All emergency updates or information associated with this event will be communicated through the Official @fathompro Twitter account.
